In a tiny state known chiefly for discreet banking, the concert hall has discovered a series of fraudulent transactions. The Luxembourg Times reports: Luxembourg’s Philharmonie has uncovered fraudulent transactions within the organisation totalling €160,000 following internal inspections, the concert hall said on Monday. “As soon as these transactions were discovered, the management and the governing bodies took the appropriate measures and reported the matter to the relevant judicial authorities,” the Philharmonie said in a press release. The concert hall said it is cooperating “fully with the authorities to establish the facts and determine any potential liability”. An external audit is also underway. Dis-donc, as they say.
