Tourists in Estonia are lured into purchasing boat trips with the promise of seeing Baltic seals. The seals, for their part, are drawn to the boats by the sound of classical music recordings. ‘The rhythms and harmonies in classical music are calm and flowing. Seals are also very curious, and because it’s not a natural sound in the marine environment, it draws them in,’ says one Estonian boatman.
