Preliminary tests are being conducted to see if the orchestra can move into the disused ICC, the Internationales Congress Centrum, during a planned refurbishment at the Philharmonie in 2032.
The ICC has been shut since 2014, following extensive asbestos removal that cost more tham quarter of a million Euros.
It is in the Westend district of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf borough.
