ORF Salzburg reports that US is closing its historuc outlets in the city, and in Vienna.
The Vienna music publisher Universal Edition will close its two music stores in Salzburg and Vienna at the end of September. The “Mayrische” in Salzburg has belonged to UE since 1994 and has been selling music scores since 1592.
I’ve had many happy browses there and soent more than a few Schillings in the good old days.
