アルメニアの作曲家アラム・ハチャトゥリアンの生誕100年を記念して2003年に創設されたハチャトゥリアン国際コンクールは、ピアノ、ヴァイオリン、チェロ、指揮の各部門を年替わりで開催している。

チェロ部門を対象とした今年のコンクールは閉幕し、ファイナリストたちはアルメニア国立交響楽団と共演した。

第1位にはドイツのチェリスト、コジマ・レジーナ・フェーデルレが選ばれ、賞金1万米ドルに加え、コンクール組織委員会が提供する2027/28年シーズンの開幕コンサートに出演する機会が与えられた。

Khachaturian International Competition Announces 2026 Cello Winners The German cellist Cosima Regina Federle has won first prize and a $10,000 USD cash prize Founded in 2003 to honor the 100th anniversary of the Armenian composer Aram Khachaturian, the annual Khachaturian International Competition alternates between editions for piano, violin, cello, and conducting. This year’s competition dedicated to the cello has now concluded, with the finalists performing with the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra. First prize was awarded to the German cellist Cosima Regina Federle, who won a $10,000 USD cash award, as well as the chance to perform in the first concert of the 2027/28 season offered by the Organizing Committee of the Competition.
