A founder of festivals and fixer of much else, Yves Petit de Voize died yesterday in his 70s.
He founded and directed fetivals in Deauville, Royaumont, Fondation Maeght, Saint-Maximin and Lyon and was artistic director of the Montreux Festival. In the media realm he was Editor-in-chief of Diapason magazine and vice-president of Radio Classique. He was also musical advisor to the Singer-Polignac Foundation.
