Bradyworks will present the world premiere of “MARS: Signs of Life,” a chamber opera with music by Tim Brady and libretto by Alexis Diamond, on December 3, 2026 at Centaur Theatre in Montreal. MARS: Signs of Life is the third installment in Brady’s chamber opera tetralogy “HOPE (and the dark matter of history),” following “Backstage at Carnegie Hall” (2022) and “INFORMATION” (2024). The series explores questions of human history and civilization, with this entry focusing on the potential colonization of Mars and the broader effects of climate change on society.
