Sir John Eliot Gardiner’s Constellation Orchestra, succssor to his Monteverdi ensembles, went down well in Madrid.
After an Arriaga Symphony, Nicola Boud played Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto, K622, on a period instrument. Haydn’s 49th symphony closed out the show.
