ベルギー・英国のグループPIASは本日、設立29年を迎えるクラシック音楽のインディーズレーベル、シグナム・レコーズを買収した。PIASは既にハルモニア・ムンディやその他のクラシック音楽関連資産を保有している。
1997年にスティーブ・ロング（写真）とアリステア・ディクソンによって設立されたシグナムは、キングズ・シンガーズ、テネブレ、アレッシオ・バックス、ジェームズ・ローズ、ポール・マクリーシュといったアーティストをフィーチャーした1,000タイトルのバックカタログを保有している。

The Belgian-British group PIAS tooday acquired Signum Records, a 29-year-old classical indy. PIAS already owns Harmonia Mundi and some other classical assets.
Signum, founded in 1997 by Steve Long (pictured) and Alistair Dixon, has a backlist of 1,000 titles featuring such artists as the King’s Singers, Tenebrae, Alessio Bax, James Rhodes and Paul McCreesh.
