グラミー賞を受賞した日本系ノルウェー人のヴィオラ奏者、益見・パー・ロスタッドは、演奏家として活動する傍ら、イーストマン音楽学校でヴィオラと室内楽の教授を務めています。パシフィカ四重奏団のメンバーとして約20年間活動したほか、イリノイ州シャンペーンで開催される室内楽フェスティバル「DoCha」の創設者でもあります。

Grammy Award-winning, Japanese-Norwegian violist Masumi Per Rostad is an active performer and professor of viola and chamber music at the Eastman School of Music. As a former member of the Pacifica Quartet for almost two decades, he also founded DoCha, a chamber music festival in Champaign, Illinois.
Amidst his career, Masumi sits down with his friends and colleagues to discuss the ins and outs of their instruments in his Sound Post series.
The fifth edition has returned, and its first episode features Tommy Mesa, cello faculty at the Manhattan School of Music, and his current 1767 Nicolò Gagliano cello.
